A Shandong delegation visited the LiKai stand during the 18th China International SME Fair in Guangzhou, where the group showed precision cutting process development for hard and brittle materials.
The conversation on the stand was mostly about process rather than machinery: what a substrate buyer measures, and which of those measurements the plant can hold in routine production.
Material samples cut in Yantai were on the stand, including sapphire wafers, square sheets and silicon carbide slices.
Exhibitions and the plant work on the same principle: a supplier that can show a measured slice is easier to shortlist than one that shows a brochure.
